Blank Slate
This is the first location to inspire the poem "Blank Slate." In this location, I questioned why I was at Stirling, what I wanted to do, and who I wanted to be.
Ancient Beauty
Coming to Scotland for the first time, I was constantly looking at the nature around me wondering how long it lived on this land. This country is centuries old, so the foliage had to be just as old. This poem captures my curiosity and awe of the nature on this walk.
Butterfly Effect
Although I was just taking a walk on a nature trail, the butterfly effect is all around when I turn off a leaf or pick up a rock. Everything I touch has a consequence which inspired this poem.

The final location of this nature walk is a garden of remembrance. This is where I spent the majority of my time outdoors. I would walk by each bench, see the names of people long gone, and thank them for their contribution to this garden.
Waiting in Limbo
Nearing the end of my journey, I have become weary of my past and the unknown future that awaits me.

This is not the first journey I've taken on this path. But there are times I forget which direction to take. All I need to remember is to follow my instincts and have faith.

It's only natural for me to become sentimental when out in nature. The sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the wind provide a tranquil experience. My mind thinks back to other walks I've been on before and reminisce about the past.
