Sensing Environments: A Most Irritating Walk

room 6 ECHOES

Sunshine Coast

Take a sunny midday walk through the Maroochy (marutchi) Wetlands Sanctuary after a week of heavy rain on the Sunshine Coast. Enjoy all the unique landscape has to offer, from lush rainforest to mangrove marsh, be serenaded by diverse birdsong. Just one last thing… did you remember to pack mosquito repellent?

I would like to acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi people as the Traditional Custodians of the land in which this project was created and is now being experienced on. I recognise their continuing connection to the land, waterways and community. I pay my respects to their Elders past and present.
