Visual Sounds recordings
How can we “see” an exhibition through its vibrations? How can we listen to the artworks through someone else’s ears? Can we conceive a visit to an exhibition as a listening experience? During the workshop “Transpositions” we transform our stimuli to sound material, we construct the recording tools, and we recompose them into a musical walking piece. Excerpts of this sonic dialogue are recomposed and transposed to Kassel as a walkable sound composition.

Ένας περίπατος γύρω από το τετράγωνο του Attica (προτείνουμε δεξιόστροφα καθώς βλέπουμε την κεντρική είσοδο στην Πανεπιστημίου) ακούγοντας έξι Αθηναίους και Αθηναίες που περιδιαβαίνοντας γύρω από το ιστορικό κτήριο, σχολιάζουν τις τωρινές του χρήσεις και ανακαλούν παιδικές αναμνήσεις. Οι εικόνες ενός κοσμοπολίτικου lifestyle,που διαποτίζουν συχνά τις αφηγησεις, εξιδανικεύονται όταν συνδέονται με το παρελθόν, αλλά όταν συνυπάρχουν με την παρούσα οικονομική κρίση, αποτελούν αντικείμενο κριτικής. Το audio walk ολοκληρώθηκε το 2014 στο πλαίσιο του έργου "Ακούγοντας ο ένας τον άλλο - (απ)όψεις της πόλης" σε συντονισμό των Escoitar.
