// Welcome to my home, Weston, a blessing! // Follow Destiny and friends as they head home after school, discovering more knowledge about their historical neighbourhood and recent changes that are hard to miss. We start off at Weston Collegiate Institute, pass by rows of quiet residential streets, cross above train tracks towards Weston Road, and circle around to Lawrence Ave W. as our final stop. ***Please ensure your safety when crossing any roads, train tracks, or parking lots during your walk by checking for vehicles, trains, bikes and/or other pedestrians. Pearson Chronicles is a three-part oral history of a collection of teenage memories and events from a significant period. It aims to connect feelings of sadness and hope to people and places. This is done through a narration using my own voice, with sounds and music that takes me back to those vivid moments. This emotionally vulnerable piece explores the transition from denial and rebellion to stability and acceptance.

As winter transitions into Spring, b current Performing Arts presents its newest iteration of its Wheel of the Year Walks project. “LIMES FOR MOM,” takes you on a stroll through the eyes of a Jane and Finch resident in her journey of appreciating the beauty of her neighbourhood, her identity as a first-generation Vietnamese-Canadian, and the community makes Jane and Finch a home. In partnership with Shakespeare in Action, experience the sounds of this under-appreciated intersection and the vibrant diversity that makes this neighbourhood unlike any other in Toronto.
