This slightly surreal audio walk is composed with a mixture of synthetic and recorded environmental sounds. These sounds blend with the actual sounds of the environment and create confusion about their origin, which ultimately emphasises your attention to your surroundings. HOW TO WALK THIS SOUND WALK:
Download the Walk beforehand! (oval button with indication of MB next to the 'STREAM WALK' button above this text) Even if you have a very good mobile data contract, the most uninterrupted experience is ensured when the sound walk is already downloaded to your Echoes app.
Activate the 'Autoplay' function! When you click 'STREAM WALK' you access the walk. You will enter a map screen and at the top right hand is a 'hamburger menu' (the three horizontal stripes)! Click there and you will be presented with the 'Autoplay' option at exact that position on your screen.
Use so-called 'open headphones'! Open headphones have the advantage that you can hear outside noises more easily and therefore offer better environmental awareness.
