This collection of audios will take you through some of my favourite experiences throughout the last couple of years. My cover image represents two of my sounds; a picture of me in Serra San Bruno which I discuss in my third sound and a picture of a dove which I discuss in my first sound. Enjoy!

The Dream

This story of my dream and the presence of the dove reminded my peers and me that our teacher was still there at school with us. I chose St. Thomas of Villanova College as my location because this was my high school. The violin in the background is meant to represent holiness and the presence of God. The bird chirping is supposed to assist in the imagination of the bird sitting on the high school law. (All sounds used from freesounds.org)

Sandwich Patrol

This experience that I had with the man in the alleyway is something I will remember for the rest of my life; I’ll always keep in mind that just because I have my own challenges, that does not mean that my challenges are worse than anyone else’s. I chose the location of Young and Dundas Square because this was the main spot where we distributed sandwiches. I chose to use a street ambiance sound and then additional car horns to demonstrate the downtown effect because we distributed the sandwiches right in the city. Serra San Bruno

My trip to Italy with my friends was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will never forget. I chose the location of Pronto Café located off of Rutherford because it was the first Italian café I visited after my trip. I used three different sounds for my third audio. The first is a song by Nicola Arigiaino called I Sing Amore; this song reminds me of the music the locals would play. The second audio is of a cappuccino cup being stirred because it represents all the time we spent in different restaurants and cafes. The third sound was of a car engine to represent the lack of fancy cars in Serra San Bruno. (Song is taken from Youtube.com and sound effects are taken from freesounds.org)
