Padiglione Dell'aria di Venezia Modulo Aperto (Venice Open Form Pavilion of Air) is a floating roof of sound across Giardini della Biennale in Venice, triggered by GPS and accessed via a smartphone, headphones and the echoes.xyz app. Inspired by Polish architects Oskar & Zofia Hansen’s “Open Form” architectural concept (ca. 1959), this audiowork is one of 15 locations in 9 countries in the pan-European Open Form Pavilion of Air series, using sound and site-mapping to offer a playful renewal and reframing of public space as an essential place of engagement for the community. By walking through different zones within Giardini della Biennale, while using your mobile phone, the Echoes app and headphones, you become a participatory listener producing a composition in real-time. Your navigation creates a unique choreography via GPS, combining and changing sounds mapped within the Giardini through the app. Hear this unique coastal and quasi-urban international arts & architecture location become transformed by the sounds forming this floating acoustic architecture, revealing an immersive, profoundly spatial and physical experience. The Pavilion has no visible presence outside the app and can only be accessed and enjoyed at Giardini della Biennale. This piece is the final work of 15 in the Open Form Pavilion of Air series - it aims to provide a link between Umberto Eco's writing on "Opera Aperta" (Open Work) and the Hansen's Open Form Architecture - creating an overarching structure but also aperture between these points through which politics and architecture as a kind of 'opera scultpture' can meet and exchange a spatial dialogue. Questo è il percorso n.1 e vede il racconto di tre luoghi-simbolo del quartiere: la Stazione dei treni, Via Roma e il Giardino Pascoli grazie alla voce di abitanti di tutte le età. Mokrišča se kot prehodna območja med kopnim in vodo upirajo enostavnim opredelitvam. Prostrana območja nenehnega počasnega razpada in neobvladljive rasti, ki v okvirih globokega časa ključno uravnavajo podnebne in zemeljske procese, so od nekdaj vzbujala strašljive in magične predstave o svetovih onkraj resničnosti na eni strani ter željo po upravljanju, izrabi in preoblikovanju tega upornega terena na drugi. V Fantastičnem močvirju prihodnosti elementi barja prevzamejo danes urbano območje Ljubljane, močvirje pa z vso silo pronica nazaj v nekdaj pretočno in raznoliko okolje, opustošeno skozi zgodovino človeške kolonizacije mokrišč. Multimedijska kompozicija se odvija kot zvočni sprehod s postojankami razširjene resničnosti ob nabrežju Ljubljanice, deli projekta pa so predstavljeni tudi v obliki video in AR instalacije v razstavnem prostoru Kamere. Delo s prepletom raznolikih medijev in elementov – od terenskih zajemov preslišanih zvočnosti barja do himeričnih virtualnih bitij – prikliče mnoštvo kulturnih, disciplinarnih in tehnoloških poskusov zamejevanj močvirja, da razpre njihove vrzeli. Z glitchem razkraja omejujoče ideje in imaginarije o človeški izrednosti ter onkraj okostenele fantazije močvirja odpira fantastično nestabilno območje, ki tekoče prehaja med mnogoterimi telesi in razsežnostmi. Nonument Group vas vabi na zvočni sprehod po poteh nekdanje Pionirske proge (1948-1954). Pionirska proga je bila 4 km dolga ozkotirna železnica, ki so jo leta 1948 zgradili pionirji in mladinske delovne brigade. Pionirske proge so bile mišljene kot vzgojne igrače, ki naj bi pri otrocih krepile ljubezen do tehnike, odgovornost, marljivost in delavnost, jih pripravljale na življenje v družbi in jim prinašale razvedrilo. Leta 1954 je bila proga ukinjena, njeni ostanki razstavljeni in premeščeni, proga pa pozabljena. Po delu nekdanje trase ob Večni poti so pozneje uredili kolesarsko stezo. Leta 2019 je Nonument Group ob Dnevu mladosti izvedla intervencijo na trasi nekdanje proge. Z zvočnim sprehodom vzdolž nekdanje trase proge lahko intervencijo podoživite tudi sami. Ob sprehajanju prisluhnite zvokom preteklosti in sedanjosti in pazite na kolesarje! Obiščite tudi razstavo Nonument Group "Od nikoder do nikamor", ki je med 17. junijem in 26. julijem 2020 na ogled v Zgodovinskem atriju ljubljanskega Magistrata.
