(14'30, stereo sound)
Using a fictional and imaginative approach, Diadéo Speaks animates a stone head artifact, giving it a voice that narrates its layered story. The soundscape unlocks portals of reconstructed memory, similar to the nature of exposed aerated concrete block —a material used for fast rebuilding after WWII — weaving layers of reverb echoing stories from the past and present. The work guides visitors through a fluid, fragmented narrative that extends across the park. This dynamic and intimate listening experience challenges traditional monuments, making history come alive and resonate through this alternative form of storytelling.
