Trees are an inspiring testimony of the perfection of nature. Demonstrating how nature is able to convert carbon dioxide using sunlight to produce oxygen, energy and sugar. When I look at a tree, I am reminded of how God's mysteries are displayed for us all to learn from, enjoy and care for. The Yellowwood Tree behind Wege grows naturally with a trunk that has a V close to the ground, discouraging loggers due to the short trunk. It has been used as a yellow dye and has beautiful flowers. I particularly love this tree because of the smooth alligator-like texture displayed on the trunk. I find peace and joy looking at this Yellowwood as it has its own story to tell. I wonder what conversations have taken place under this tree.
