A walk through Mary Street with sounds an images from different times of day, weather and focus.

"We Put So Many Things Between These Walls" is an augmented instructional soundscape where participants journey through an abandoned house witnessing the lived experience as told by a past occupant. The emptiness, silence and stillness merge with the augmented sounds of everyday inhabitation.

Explore the sounds of Queensland at the 2018 Booin Gari Festival, a celebration of Indigenous culture on the Noosa River. Aurality is an augmented reality audio project exploring Queensland’s idyllic rainforests, rivers and reefs through music, sound and acoustic ecology. The app uses GPS points along the coast of Queensland, Australia to trigger audio based on location and movement. Walk towards the sounds (circles and images) on the map and they will play automatically when you are in the active zone. You can explore the sounds in any order at any time of day. The soundscapes will adapt and evolve throughout the festival. AURALITY is best experienced wearing headphones. Spend the morning with nature. Feel the golden sun on your skin as the sun rises over the sea and peeks through the trees. The wildlife awakens as the light brightens but the rising sun. As you get closer to the top, hear the mellow wind rustling the treetop leaves. As you approach the top, enjoy the view, breath in the fresh air, and feel the world beneath you. Listen to the beautiful sounds that come from the Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary. This area plays a crucial role in the health of the Maroochy River and is part of the Sunshine Coast's Blue Heart. This little project was created with my 2 children (7 & 9 years old) who helped me record and put together this walk. It was amazing to see them both curious and focused on our little journey. I hope you enjoy!
