Copenhagen Echoes is a sonic remix of the historic centre of Copenhagen, seen through the eyes of the writers Ludvig Holberg, Hans Christian Andersen, Jernskiæg and Charles Dickens and heard through the ears of composer and sound artist Hans Sydow. Copenhagen Echoes will lead you through a sonic dreamscape from Kongens Nytorv to Magstræde, that evokes the spirit of the place. Along the route a mix of sound from Copenhagen and Hanoi will let you pass a sound bridge between the two cities.

Intricately designed sounds drowning out the outer world. You can listen to the pieces in any order you like. Some pieces are long some pieces are short, you don't have to finish them before you move on to another, and you can come back to them if you haven't finished one. You can repeat any of them you like. None of them are supposed to start or finish in any specific way.

I denne audio walk reflekterer Den Lille Havfrue tilbage på de livlige somre ved sin plads i København, før stedet var påvirket af Coronakrisen. Der plejede at være fyldt med mennesker om sommeren, på grund af turister og andre besøgende, men i disse Coronatider er der næsten ingen. Den Lille Havfrue tænker derfor tilbage på, hvordan det ville have været under normale omstændigheder i forhold til, hvordan det er nu; så stille at man kan høre vandet slå mod stenene.

In this walk you will listen to three pieces of music that reflect upon some approaches to the concept of the self. These are 'dream, motivation and a guided meditation' and then a virtual ensemble. The marked areas suggest a route with the Shop N' Play as the starting point. It is however also possible to choose another route and order.
