Everything I Hear Will Outlive Me

Everything I Hear Will Outlive Me

Featured at Hidden World I, an outdoor pop-up sound art exhibition, Everything I Hear Will Outlive Me is an immersive spatial composition by artist and composer Landon Caldwell. This piece explore the possibilities and the limits of digital space while presenting sound as a missing piece of environmental design. The piece encourages the listener to consider sound as the conduit for connection with environment and space. Allowing the user to conduct their own experience of the composition illustrates the mere presence of a body has an affect on the ecology of a place.

Mark_Tester - Conjured Space

Conjured Space is a new immersive installation by Mark Tester that allows the listener to sonically interact with their environment, while they explore the Northern portion of Garfield Park in Indianapolis. A library of sounds was created from natural sources, mundane microphone whispers and earthly phonics that were sampled and restructured within the Sonic Potluck modular synthesizer system then GPS mapped throughout the park. Sounds call from a distance and invite you to momentarily pause, listen and engage before moving on to new zones.
