ENG Xeno Walk, an aural essay about collective feminism is an Augmented Reality audio walk featuring the voices of activists and artists who embrace the form of collage as a tool of resistance, exploration, and coalition, working collectively for freedom, autonomy, and equality. The sound walk features the voices from three street art collectives: Collagues Feminicides Paris, Collagues Feminicides & Feministes Montreal, Viv Corringham, and #VIVAS, a Latin America-based collective that produces sound artworks from political marches and protests. FR Xeno Walk est une marche sonore en réalité augmentée composée de voix et d'œuvres sonores d'activistes et de productrices de sons qui utilisent le collage comme outil d'exploration auditive. La marche présente des œuvres de #VIVAS, un collectif basé en Amérique latine qui produit des œuvres sonores faites à partir d'enregistrements sur le terrain de manifestations sociales féministes, les Shadow Walks de Viv Corringham, et les voix des membres de Collages Féministes & Féminicides Paris et Montréal. La conception sonore de la marche prend la forme d'un collage mélangeant leurs bandes sonores et leurs interviews.

Les participant·e·s à l’atelier Claiming the night : an AR sound workshop on walking after dusk pour une présentation publique du travail qu’iels ont réalisé. Les participant·e·s ont pu en apprendrez davantage sur la cartographie, la réalité augmentée, l’écoute attentive, la narration et leurs points de convergences. Lors de cette présentation publique, iels partageront des récits enregistrés ainsi qu’une conception sonore collective dans le cadre d’une promenade sonore ouverte au public! RUIDO DE PAPEL / PAPER NOISE / BRUIT DE PAPIER, is a collaborative project facilitated by the artist-in-residence Amanda Gutierrez, which will display an ongoing augmented audio and stop-motion animation project. Her artworks elaborate on feminist initiatives and artists who denounce gender violence, using the public space as a forum. The project emphasizes the diverse tactics of socially engaged practices that embrace collage as a tool of resistance. RUIDO DE PAPEL / PAPER NOISE / BRUIT DE PAPIER will produce an augmented sonic collage featuring voices and soundtracks produced by the Argentinian sound collective, #Vivas, and the sound artist Viv Corringham –featuring previous sound collaborations and Vivas ongoing collective works. Throughout the residency, short cut-out animations will be produced in the gallery, using the space as an open stop-motion animation studio. The short animations will be created day by day and will be exhibited as video projections that will evolve weekly as an audiovisual palimpsest.
