Archaeology of the Inner Voice - “The Interpretation of Dreams” by S. Freud - Spiro Mason and Rene Markovič - The project "Archaeology of the Inner Voice - Freud's Text The Interpretation of Dreams" is a journey through ambient soundscapes, random sequence of events and memories, inviting us to listen to an inner voice that emerges alongside the awakening of our surroundings and the thread of Freud's thoughts recorded in his text. The project explores the dynamic connection between the sounds of a space and the inner voice that resides within Freud's text. By recording spaces that resonate, I create soundscapes that are algorithmically transformed into random sequences of Morse code. These auditory codes are heard on the left channel as readings of random, echoing letters. The random sequences programmatically but soundlessly form meaningful fragments, which are then compared to Freud's text by the algorithm. When the fragments align with Freud's text, the passage is machine-read and heard again on the right channel. The project is a subtle artistic exploration of the inner voice, emerging through a dialogue between the richness of fading sounds in the space (the sounds of our presence, the voice of Freud's daughter Anna from a video projection, the sounds of urban environment...) and the machine reading of fragments from Freud's text. The artwork is a continuation of my collaboration with the Institute for Contemporary Art Processing, CONA, and PhD Rene Markovič. Mit dem Hörspiel „Die Kegelbahn am Stephansdom“ finden sich die Zuhörer:innen in einer Szenerie die einzigartig ist. Es handelt sich um ein Kegelspiel im Stephansdom oder besser gesagt um die Adaption einer Sage davon. Mit der neuen Fassung, in der Kirche und Wissenschaft, um ihre Errungenschaften kegeln.

Místopis dvanácti vybraných lokalit v Brně je výsledkem spojení umělecké a antropologické perspektivy zkoumající různé formáty proměňování, užívání a sdílení veřejného prostoru formou zahradničení nebo jemu podobných intervencí. Autorky postihují různorodé motivace zahradnických intervencionistů, přičemž některé vstupy realizují samy. U výsadeb, jichž jsou pozorovatelkami, lze u zahradnictva vysledovat motivy hravosti, touhy zpříjemnit si prostředí, vyprodukovat reálné výnosy zeleniny, bylin, drobného ovoce, či motivy emotivních vazeb na konkrétní rostliny. Tyto příklady zdokumentovaly pomocí rozhovorů a analýzy diskurzu na facebookové skupině Pouliční zahradníci nejen v Brně a střed sociální antropoložky Anastasia Blochina a Hana Drštičková. V naší zvukové vycházce najdete výběr různorodých míst - od vnitrobloků, přes veřejné prostranství před obchodním domem či mezi tramvajovou tratí a chodníkem, železniční viadukt a jeho okolí, osamělý dutý pařez v parku, okolí železiční tratě, či naopak celistvé území na okraji sídliště. Etnografická analýza postihuje emoce, sociální vazby, v jednom případě i politický spor postihující definici užívání konkrétního místa. Umělecké vstupy Lucie Bergamashchi, Nely Maruškevičové, Kateřiny Konvalinové a Barbory Lungové naopak vytvářejí portréty nepřístupných nebo opomíjených míst prostřednictvím časosběrných zvukových nahrávek, výsevu ruderálních rostlin, známého lidového popěvku, či neobvyklých rostlinných intervencí. Architektkou zvukové vycházky je Iva Balcaříková, která kromě zajištění grafiky projektu také koordinovala logistiku trasy. Jednotlivá zastavení pro budoucnost zdokumentovaly Polina Davydenko a Lucia Bergamaschi.
