Nightingales (second movement)

Created in the first few weeks of the COVID19 lockdown. It is composed of snippets of speech from news broadcasts and talk shows around the world and their commentary on the unfolding health crisis. This is juxtaposed with the pastoral field recordings of birdsong. Constituent parts are processed with various reverbs where resonant frequencies are selected and amplified to create the illusion of melody where there is little to be found.
