The State Library of Queensland is the main research and reference library accessible to the people of the State of Queensland.
Previously the Library was names the Brisbane Public Library and the Public Library of Queensland. The current building the Library is in was completed in late 2006.
To continue through the Southbank buildings walk you can either go North to the Gallery of Modern Art or South to the Queensland Museum.
