Welcome to Chatswood, a bustling community with lots of various people from a diverse set of backgrounds and all the important things that the city has but on a smaller scale. Let me take you to the beginning. Chatswood was actually established in 1876, but was originally called Chattie’s Wood, named after the wife of the then Mayor, Charlotte Harnett. By 1900, it was easily accessible through public transport, which is one of the main factors of Chatswood now.
