The First Skate
This is a story about my first time skating. I had a tryout with a hockey team when I was young. I tried my hardest to skate well but instead was embarrassed by laughter. I thought of this as a learning experience, to never give up and prove everyone wrong. When I got up, this only pushed me to do better.
