The piece is composed using an infrasound recording from Seoul and various extracts from a long form recording using JrF hydrophones of Korean ceramic fragments dissolving. For me the act of listening, allowing the sound of a place, situation or object to reveal itself is already more invested with content than we often comprehend. In this instance I consider the intricacy of the sounds created by the ceramic fragments dissolving to stand for the fragility of the medium and the fascination of its transformation.
