In the Special Collections section of the McClay library can be found a gift from Philip Hobsbaum. A collection encompassing 67 works by 29 different authors. Poems, short stories and even plays. Most notably from Seamus Heaney, Michael Longley and Hobsbaum himself, and Hannah, his wife. These works are the original typescripts from the authors and are available for staff, students and members of the public to view.
