Queensland Performing Arts Centre

The Queensland Performing Arts Centre, also known as QPAC, was officially opened on the 20th of April 1985 by His Royal Highness the Duck of Kent.

Since its opening, QPAC has welcomed over 20 million visitors to events ranging from performances indoor and outdoor to workshops.

With more than 26,000 performances having taken place in one of QPAC's four areas, many featuring significate artistes and presentations from around the world.

You can continue the walk through the buildings at Southbank by either going North to the Queensland Museum, South to the Wheel of Brisbane or West to The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
