This composition explores the relationship among the sculpture’s structure, its natural surroundings, and the message from the artist. Inspired by Hildegard Westerkamp’s soundwalking and Edgar Varèse’s "organized sound,” this work shaped the sonic texture through blending environmental recordings—strong wind, drizzling rain, and passing cars—with original music played by piano and cello. Through the piece, the corrupted piano file became a metaphor for societal fragmentation, aligning with the political themes in Father Collins’s work. As dissonance shifts to harmony, the piece mirrors a journey from conflict to resolution. Footsteps at the end represent the lasting impression of the sculpture, while the continuous rain underscores the idea that while the external world—such as the sculpture—remains unchanged, human experiences, emotions, and presence are fleeting.
