Emma Goldman, who J. Edgar Hoover once named “the most dangerous woman in America", lived in Toronto upon her exile from the United States, and other countries. She resided at 322 Spadina Avenue in 1926-1927, and later on Vaughan Rd in the home of a friend, until her death in 1940. This is a speech she delivered in 1914 in San Francisco, as read by Sandra Oh. A reading from Voices of a People's History of the United States given October 5, 2005 in Los Angeles California (Howard Zinn and Anthony Arnove).
