Status. 4 category. A rare taiga species, insufficiently researched. Habitat. Found only in the North. Biotope. Damp grasslands close to fresh water pools. Biology. A sedentary species. The creatures are greyish blue in colour, with three white lines on their backs and a yellowish white stripe on their sides. Grows up to 5cm in size. Until the end of June, it feeds on fresh plant based foods, at other times it seeks out small insects. Abundance. All 2 former populations have died out. Everywhere else only singular couples have been found. Protection. Preservation of biotopes, refrain forestation in those areas. Level of dangerousness: 2. Do not bite humans.
