Find the wind. Move across the pavement while avoiding cracks, indentations, or potholes. Allow the wind to push and pull different parts of the body with varying force. The arm might be carried upwards and out before the legs. The feet might be swept out from under before the torso. Allow the body to travel in disunity, in fragments, in scrambled multiplicity. Imagine soapy bubbles of varying sizes floating towards you in the direction the wind is coming, others hanging heavy in the air or lifting out of sight. Move across the pavement while adjusting to avoid collision with the fragile air pockets. Arch, jump, skitter. Duck, drift, travel.
