1) We live near the Cop, and we can’t park our car. 2) Lonely swings on the skyline. Sad kids without a future. 3) The Magical Mystery tour, there goes the bus again down to Forthlan Road, everyone there is sick of the sight of it. 4) The Philharmonic pub. Roll up, roll up and see the gents’ loos. 5) The Philharmonic hall, a glorious orchestra, a choir of angels but behind the scenes the angels bitch at each other, just like anyone else. 6) Come to Eurovision and prepare to be fleeced by your hotel, you’ll wish you’d gone to India instead. 7) Ferry across the Mersey soon it will be a river, a river of filth. God bless United Utilities. 8) The Three Graces, the Albert Dock, get too greedy and lose your World Heritage status. 9) Who would've thought back in the 60s The Beatles would put us back on the map with a vengeance? 10) City of starting points, slave ships, migrants, immigrants, the cotton trade, all an unholy swirl of mess, full of affluence.
