Every year, the mountain birch forest is also great habitat for visiting birds. In the summer, you might see willow warbler, common redpoll, brambling or bluethroat, which make their nests in the trees and eat insects and berries. For an up-close chance to see the birds, you can join a bird ringing session by the lake at the Research Center.
