The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre was opened on the 6th of June 1995, and was later expanded in 2012. The current Centre is 450 metres in length, 120 meters wide and 24 metres in height.
The Centre hosts such many events such as the Brisbane International Boat Show, art shows, charity events and the graduation ceremony for Griffith University.
To continue through the walk of Southbank's buildings head North to the Performing Arts Centre or East towards the Wheel of Brisbane.
