The Chrysalis is a multi-purpose pavilion. It is also a colossal sculpture. It hosts concerts and other large and small events presented by the Inner Arbor Trust and Merriweather Post Pavilion. But the majority of time it stands alone amid the trees — just someplace to be enjoyed for its connection to, or disassociation from, the natural setting.
