The Cemetery Arboretum

Sleaford's Cemetery is now recognised as an arboretum where almost 300 tree species have been identified. Thirty-seven of these are of special interest and designated with a descriptive plaque. The long tradition of arboriculture here dates back to 1856 and the planting of the first Black Pines.
