In this recording you can hear minnows feeding, caddis fly larvae and several different species of water beetle. But there are also some sounds of unknown origin. You can also hear the sounds of some birds in the trees, and children playing nearby, which have been transmitted to the hydrophones through the water. These recordings were made at Blandford, upstream of Wimborne.
