I sat in the lobby on the couch and listened to what it would sound like if I just turned off and focused on my surrounding sounds. HLH Lobby is decently echoey because of its high ceilings. At high volume times there is a lot of foot traffic. Here, people socialize and catch up with friends in between classes.

Binaural Soundscape Compositions 2019: Queen's University

Kingston, Ontario, Canada

Soundscape compositions created for binaural headphone listening by students in MUSC255 (Electroacoustic Composition) in February-March 2019. The composition assignment called for engagement with a specific location on campus, gathering sounds from that place and working with them in the studio to create a sonic portrait of the site. Binaural audio requires headphones for listening, and should give a sense of sounds occurring 360 degrees around you.
