Star People is a surreal piece which depicts a futuristic interpretation seemingly of an astronaut with shaded eyes and then looking up showing the incredible detail. Elements of nature are mixed with plants and butterflies in against modern technology with a police car present. Then we go to up with an alien vessel beaming down looking to transport someone to the stars.
The entire piece tells the story of the past, present and future. In fact the colour scheme is very naturalistic with a distinct lack of harsh colours that are present in typical sci fi. Like Blade Runner or 2001 A Space Odyssey, which I feel this piece is inspired from. What do you think?
