Using a recorded sound walk of the canals in Stoke-on-Trent as my source material, I have produced a slow, ambient sound piece about the waterways that served as the arteries of ceramic production in the area, bringing clay and other materials directly to The Potteries. The canal additionally serves as a metaphor for the flow, or dialogue, between the two making cultures of Britain and Korea, which lie at the heart of the Made in Korea project.
