The first of 12 educational stations of the Coking Plant’s Monument Path was opened in the autumn of 2020. Inside the black, cube-shaped building, complex procedural steps of what was once Europe's largest central coking plant are explained with the help of projections and animations. A model of over seven metres in length provides insight into the so-called “black side“ of the Coking Plant.
