Rainbow Street
Reykjavik Pride is serious business! Celebrated every year in August, the city congregates for the parade and parties together near the pond; it is one of the biggest events in the country. In honor of the 2015 edition, this part of the street, which leads to Hallgrimskirkja, was painted with the colors of the rainbow. It has remained ever since, a symbol of joy and support for diversity.
