4. Some Sounds From Kitchenware, Young Eun Kim

I took out all the common utensils in the kitchen and looked at the process in which they were made. The moments in which a ceramist envisions the pottery, the physical processes in which the pottery is made and the sounds in the process, which are both handmade and mechanical. The three-part sounds in this piece represent and reproduce the physical and psychological processes in which pottery is made, and recall the past of the vessels in my kitchen.
