Find a tree near the library and place your hand against the trunk.

Pay attention to how it feels—the rough bark, the temperature, the shape beneath your hand.

It seems ordinary, but that is exactly the point.

The missing student stopped here too.

As you listen to the next recording, keep your hand on the tree and remember what it feels like.
