Soundwalk in ARC (1st Floor) - Derrick Wang

The location I chose was the first floor of ARC. I think the sound there does not change much throughout the day, normally busier during lunch and dinner time for the food area, but sometimes some special events will be held in the basketball court. People can hear the sound of supermarket scanner in the grocery on the first floor of ARC and their background music, also the sound of basketball and volleyball matches can be heard in the first floor ARC.

Binaural Soundscape Compositions 2019: Queen's University

Kingston, Ontario, Canada

Soundscape compositions created for binaural headphone listening by students in MUSC255 (Electroacoustic Composition) in February-March 2019. The composition assignment called for engagement with a specific location on campus, gathering sounds from that place and working with them in the studio to create a sonic portrait of the site. Binaural audio requires headphones for listening, and should give a sense of sounds occurring 360 degrees around you.
