19. Lingonberry

Watch out along this part of the trail for one of the most famous fruits in Scandinavia, the Lingonberry! This plant also goes by the scientific name, Vaccinium vitis-ideae, and has delicate bell-shaped white or light pink flowers between May and June. The leathery leaves are dark green and shiny on the upper side, and light green and speckled below. From September, you might be able to see its bright red berries.
