Three short interlinked soundscapes in miniature, each with distinct atmospheres and sound marks, drawn from various field recordings made and collected over time. Miniature 1 - Under the rocks near the bandstand at the East Pier: construction work clamour from the old Bathhouse reverberating through Scotsman’s Bay, clinking riggings, a creaking boat, drifting voices… Miniature 2 - Falling snow during Storm Emma: wind chimes, bell ropes, cassette tape glitches, bell sounds from St. Alphonsus & Columba Church, Ballybrack (recorded to cassette tape by Gerry Cosgrave during 1976)…Miniature 3 - Morning birdsong: bees, a distant undertone, Dún Laoghaire voices carried on the wind…
