In this park, machines used in mining that were long invisible above ground are surrounded by plants typical for the site. From pedestrian bridges, you can look at the almost creaturely giants and information boards display more details about what they were used for. A sound concert brings the machines back to life.
The park was designed in 2018 by südstudio Stuttgart, as part of a cooperation between Ruhr Museum and Bergbau Museum Bochum.
