The unified archaeological site of the Asclepieion of Trikala, which emerged after the expropriation of private plots, is located to the east of the church of Agios Nikolaos, on Sarafi Street. A stoic building, a building with mosaic floors, a bath and a small Byzantine temple have been discovered.
