I find it hard to believe I have such a personal connection to a shopping mall. Nevertheless, this place is near and dear to my heart. Growing up just a few minutes away from Yorkdale, I would always go to the mall in my free time. From a child to a seventeen year old, I have made countless memories here. I have made friends here, experienced food that I have never tried before, purchased items that I could not afford when I was younger, and experienced my first kiss at Yorkdale. Call me crazy, but my fondest memories are just a 5 minute walk away from home.
