Status. 1 category. Species nearing extinction. Habitat. Almost no data about this species spread in the territory. Biotope. Deciduous and mixed mature woods near forest edges, deforestation zones, forest meadows and water pools. Biology. Constantly migrant during the dark hours of the day, thus hard to observe. Never stays in the same forest for long. Destroys the nests of other creatures. In spring, when the weather gets warmer, lays eggs in a safe nest they’ve made beforehand and leave. Upon hatching the offspring are particularly vulnerable, get stronger during the first week. Feeds on reptiles, offspring of flying creatures and other small animals. May feed on carrion. Abundance.
