A new cutting

1 sound

This design aims to protect and serve native bird habitat while creating a greater access and dwelling space for walkers. During peak times, as many as 500 pedestrians per hour use Bronte cutting. Cutting car access to half of the cutting and implementing a planting design aids access for people and habitat for birds. As you walk through the sunken path between the Hawkesbury cliffs look and listen for native birds such as honeyeaters and superb fairy wrens. Why does their habitat exist in such as weather prone and harsh environment? They nest and feed between the low-lying, durable coastal heathland.
