Since 2003 when it was first gifted to ‘The Executive’, Ebrington Square has gone through a large regeneration plan. The site which was originally used by the Jacobite Forces during the siege of Derry and called Star Fort in 1841, the space has been turned into a large open plaza with a hotel and restaurant and even features a fresh bakery which is opened daily.
