The Ship Inn

The Ship Inn is now used as a private house, but in the days when it was still a public house, it was reputedly frequented by Bargees from the canal, possibly from as early as the 1700s. Created with the help of children from Hoyland Springwood Primary School, this soundscape will transport you to a typical pub scene, at a time when the canal was in its heyday, with music, laughter and of course drinking!
