This is Centro, one of the most popular dining halls on campus. Open throughout the day, it’s rarely quiet. The clatter of trays, cutlery, cash machines, and constant conversation is part of the cafeteria atmosphere. But consider how this environment impacts a student with ADHD, autism, or anxiety: the inability to filter competing sounds makes it hard to think, let alone eat in peace. For some, just stepping inside Centro can drain their energy for the rest of the day.
