3. The Birds

This place… it used to be the cleanest forest of the Road.

So many birds lived here: the black beaks; sharp bills; blue crests; the ones with the loudest and longest songs; the birds that danced with Fae; and the ones who cried to warn of every danger.

Looks like they’re no longer around.
